SAN FRANCISCO—On Wednesday, August 20, the San Francisco Police Department announced that the City and County of San Francisco authorized a $200,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Jordan McKay.

He was shot and killed on September 17, 2008. Jordan had gotten off work and was riding home on his bicycle in the region of 15th Avenue and Cabrillo Street. Three to four individuals in a 4-door light-colored 2008 Chevrolet Impala/Malibu stopped their car and tried to rob McKay. He fought back after being attacked, during the struggle, Suspect #1 shot the victim, he died at the scene.
