FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — At the Great Minnesota Get-Together, it can be hard to stand out from the crowd. But not for David.

The 29-year-old from the Twin Cities east metro has become a favorite at county fairs.

"Hey, I've seen you at this fair. I've seen you at the Washington County fair. I've seen you at the Steele County Fair," said David of Greater Tater.

On Thursday, Greater Tater made its Minnesota State Fair debut. The food truck is one of eight new food vendors this year.

"It's been our dream to come here," David said. "I was teary-eyed."

Greater Tater's slogan is "It's what's inside that counts."

"That is really true because I have Down syndrome but they need to see what's inside of me is where it counts," David said.
