A man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the deaths of two Gaston County residents who were beaten and stabbed to death at a home in Gastonia in 2018.

Marcus Anthony Meadows, 55, was convicted in the deaths of 47-year-old Robert Metcalfe and 68-year-old Brenda Henson, who were found dead in Henson’s home on April 8, 2018, by Henson’s daughter, Chasity Massey, Assistant District Attorney Zachary Holeve said in court this week.
