Good morning, baseball fans!
It’s Friday, so instead of focusing on the recent woes or successes of the San Francisco Giants, I wanted to stir the pot and start a conversation about weird series lengths.
As someone whose life kind of revolves around the baseball schedule, I have to say that I strongly dislike four-game (and also two-game) series. I get that the schedules have to provide days off, while also making sure that there are games on every day, and many other logistical factors that go into organizing something as complicated as a season schedule for 30 teams that have to play a specific number of games against each other.
That’s a logistical nightmare that I want no part in, thank you very much.
So I guess I shouldn’t complain that much. But somehow it always seems like these
