Troy police have arrested two men on charges involving gunfire.
In the first case, police say 20-year-old Jaylin Collins of Troy was charged with firing a gun into an occupied vehicle. Two 17-year-olds have also been arrested on the same charge.
Police say at about 12:30AM on July 26, they were called to a shooting in the 100 block of Williams Street, which is near South Three Notch Street downtown.
On August 19, police say they tried to stop a vehicle that Collins was in so that they could serve him with outstanding warrants. They say Collins ran away while carrying a bag, but fell into a hole. Police say the bag had a handgun inside.
Collins is being held in the Pike County Jail without bond, pending a hearing due to additional bench warrants for violating a bond from a previous char
