U.S. Representative Darin LaHood of Illinois has expressed concerns over Governor JB Pritzker's financial aid plan for undocumented immigrants, stating that it will exacerbate the state's debt and increase taxpayer burdens. This statement was made on the social media platform X.

"Illinoisans face one of the highest local and state taxes due to Gov. Pritzker's reckless spending," said Darin McKay LaHood, U.S. Representative from Illinois. "This program only adds to the financial burden and incentivizes illegal immigrants to find safe harbor in Illinois. His record has only put our state deeper in debt and our families at greater risk."
