(Jefferson City, MO) — Grant applications are beginning to arrive at a state office ahead of the next round of fund awards. Those seeking Fast Track education grants are Missouri adults 25 and older, chasing a career in a high-demand field. Leroy Wade of the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development says since the program began in 2019, thousands of Missouri adults have received grants to help pay for tuition and fees as they pursue a career in health care, information technology, transportation, finance and other fields facing employee shortages in the state.
