Three men face murder charges in the July 27 fatal shooting of a six-year-old boy on Detroit’s east side.

Detroiters Demontrel Benard Wilson, 30, Deonate Cornealous Cherry, 28, and Terrance Jaland Blue, 28, face multiple charges in connection with the shooting death of six-year-old Rylee Love.

On July 27, around 9 p.m., authorities allege the three men fired multiple rounds from handguns out of a vehicle into a group of people standing near the intersection of Anglin Street and Stender Avenue. A stray bullet struck Rylee in the head as he played in a bedroom of a home in the 17400 block of Anglin Street down the block.

The suspects were arrested Wednesday.
