Glendale Prep is powered by nine seniors, many of them four-year players. At the 2A football level, that can make a massive difference.

That experience and physical maturity showed from the opening plays to the end of the Griffins' 49-0 home rout of Gilbert Arete Prep in the first game of the 2025 season Aug. 22 in Peoria.

"We knew this was going to happen. We knew we were going to step on the field and dominate. It was just a matter of seeinng it through,” senior running back/linebacker Bobby Glazner said.

Glazner and his offensive line laid out the terms early. He took a short backwards toss from senior quarterback Josh McHale and cut a path to the outside, lunging inside the pylon for a 21-yard touchdown run.
