ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 30-year-old man was shot late Tuesday night, according to Rochester police.

Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue and found the man with a gunshot wound to his lower body. Investigators determined the shooting occurred on Champlain Street.

The victim was taken to Rochester General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
