ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman from Holley was arrested by the Orleans County Sheriff in the town of Murray on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the OCSO, 29-year-old Brianna R. Button was arrested following an investigation into an incident from early July that involved Button allegedly providing two 15-year-old males with a substance, which they smoked, and then became unresponsive.

Investigators say Button attempted life-saving measures on one of the boys, but she left the scene before EMS arrived. A NYS Parole Officer provided medical assistance after getting waved down by neighbors.

Both boys were taken to area hospitals and both have made full recoveries.

Button faces charges punishable by up to one year of incarceration and $1,000 fine.
