David Jones-Garcia is representing his country in the Americup and is doing a great job on the floor, leading the Dominican Republic in scoring after two wins. Unfortunately, something that happened after the game against Argentina tainted what has been a fantastic performance so far.

After a close, emotional game that went to overtime before Jones’ side prevailed, the two teams started pushing and shoving each other. It’s unclear how it all started, and several players were involved. After a few tense moments, it seemed things wouldn’t continue to escalate, but DJG couldn’t be contained, ran across the baseline, and took a swing at one of Argentina’s players. His much bigger target was fine despite falling over, and the kerfuffle ended soon after, but it wasn’t a great look for the gifte
