ST. LOUIS - The Muny in Forest Park wrapped up its 107th season Sunday night with its final show of the musical “Jersey Boys.”

“10,000 people come out every night,” Kwofe Coleman, president and CEO of The Muny, said. “They've made this a part of their tradition and part of their family.”

Showgoers said that The Muny offers outdoor summer fun with entertainment, and it's something everyone should at least experience once.

“We used to come as kids,” friends, Nancy McGrath and Janet Sherel said. “My parents brought me, my mom bought me all the time, I brought my kids … we loved it, it's a long tradition.”

Critics agreed that the amphitheater deserved to be recognized, awarding it the Best Regional Theatre Tony Award this year.
