ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man was shot and killed in northwest Atlanta on Saturday night, according to police.
The shooting happened at 996 Westmoor Dr. NW in the Washington Park neighborhood around 11:24 p.m. When Zone 1 officers arrived at the scene, they found 27-year-old Marcus Banks III with a gunshot wound.
Police say Banks was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Thursday, 28-year-old Rieley Fuller turned himself in at the Atlanta Public Safety Headquarters for his involvement in the shooting.
Fuller is being charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
