Two university students, driven to desperation by soaring accommodation costs, have resorted to living in a dilapidated bus.
Leo Bevan and Kit Renshaw, both 20 years old, claim they've been "priced out" of the rental market to such an extent that their only option was to move into the disused Ayats Bravo. The pair towed the vehicle - once used by the band Sugababes - to a park and ride, where they pay a mere £73 per week.
This unconventional living arrangement will save them between £2,500 and £3,500 each in their upcoming final year at the University of Oxford, as their rent was projected to rise to between £9,000 and £10,000 respectively.
