ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man from Honeoye is facing drug and vehicle charges after hitting mailboxes in the Town of Lima.
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office responded to Rochester Road on Saturday afternoon and found that several mailboxes in the area were damaged. Reports indicated the vehicle was driving south on Rochester Road.
Deputies said they found the vehicle driven by 44-year-old Shannon Masterson, who allegedly gave a false identity. Furthermore, it was alleged that Masterson was trying to hide property inside the car.
After Masterson was taken into custody, deputies said they found he was in possession of cocaine and buprenorphine. They also said he was driving on a suspended license.
Masterson has been charged with tampering with physical evidence, criminal impersonat
