All systems are go at Mt. Hope High School as the 2025-26 term begins this week with the Chestnut Street campus now a fully-engaged construction site with the new building location being readied for the actual erecting of skeletal steel, which will eventually happen in very short order.

Principal Michelle King said there's a growing sense of excitement and anticipation as the year is about to start, her administration preparing students and staff for some of the expected obstacles, though knowing what comes of them will be the reward of a gleaming new school.
