SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Although the 78th Little League World Series is over, businesses in downtown Williamsport still have signage welcoming Little Leaguers. The Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce says attendance was good this year.

"There were a lot of people here; you saw a lot of license plates that were out of state. A lot of folks that were here were speaking different languages as well, so attendance was really good, we were really pleased with it," said Jason Fink, Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce President and CEO.

Businesses in downtown Williamsport, like Alabaster Coffee Roaster and Tea Company, say that they saw a lot of foot traffic during the series.
