A neighborhood group’s lawsuit challenging Baltimore’s tax sale system may move forward, a federal judge ruled Friday.

The Edmondson Community Organization, which works to revitalize the historically Black and disinvested Midtown-Edmondson neighborhood and lost its building after the 2018 tax sale, alleges that the process is an unjust taking in which the city and investors collaborate to steal home equity.
