JAMESTOWN — The Williston Coyotes opened their cross country season in dominant fashion Saturday (Aug. 23), sweeping the boys' and girls' 5,000-meter varsity races at the "Orriginal" Invitational at Parkhurst Recreation Area.

The girls claimed the team title with 49 points, highlighted by a first and second place finish. Harley Jeannotte crossed first in 19:18, followed closely 12 seconds later by Cambree Moss in second. The boys scored 31 points to take first place, with all five of their top runners finishing inside the top 10.
