PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent arrests made by the Portsmouth Police Department:
Tuesday, Aug. 19
Five people were charged with trespassing on a railroad right-of-way after police were called to Railroad Avenue at the Sakonnet River Bridge around 5:15 p.m. They were Rakim K. Sanders, 36, of 322 Pullen Ave., Pawtucket; Marcio Evora Monteiro, 32, of 36 McMillen St., Floor 1, Providence; Juarami Asmin Batista, 34, of 30 Jefferson Ave., Floor 2, Pawtucket; Ernesto M. Boliero, 67, of 42 Wapping Drive, Bristol; and Manuel M. Resends, 76, of 60 Sanford St., East Providence. Each was issued a 2nd District Court summons and released from the scene, police said.
Thomas Vincent Fogerty, 52, of 2431 East Main Road, Apt. 4, was charged at his home around 9:20 p.m. with operating a motor vehicle u
