Thornton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a black SUV that may have contributed to a fatal motorcycle accident on Saturday night.

A 37-year-old man was riding westbound along East 104th Avenue and the Fox Run Parkway, near Colorado Boulevard, when he lost control and crashed at around 10:45 p.m. The rider was not wearing a helmet and speed may have been a factor in the crash, police said. He later died of his injuries at a hospital.

His identity is being withheld until the Adams County Coroner’s Office can provide an identification and notify next of kin.
