LAKEWAY, Texas - Police are investigating an incident in Lakeway.

What we know:

According to Lakeway police, around 3:37 p.m. on Monday, August 25, officers responded to the Lakeway Village Square Shopping Center, at 1200 Lakeway Dr., near Lakeway City Hall.

Officers are investigating an incident.

Sailmaster Street is shut down between Lohmans Crossing Road and Lakeway Drive as police investigate.

There is no threat to the public, police said, but they are asking people to avoid the area.

What we don't know:

Police did not say what type of incident they are investigating.
