SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A San Joaquin County man was arrested after being indicted on charges of producing child sexual abuse material.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 25-year-old Timothy McCulley of Escalon was charged with using a minor for sexually explicit conduct to create such material in November 2024.
The case stemmed from an investigation led by the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit of the Sacramento Valley Hi-Tech Crimes Task Force, along with Homeland Security Investigations.
If convicted, McCulley could face up to 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count. However, the court will determine the final sentence, considering various factors.
Authorities emphasized that these charges are allegations and McCulley is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
