LAKE VILLAGE, Ark. — Arkansas State Police (ASP) have now arrested a teenager who was wanted in connection to the homicide of a Lake Village man.
According to reports, at about 8:00 p.m. on August 20, officers with the Lake Village Police Department (LVPD) were called to do a welfare check in the 300 block of Black Street.
When they entered the home, officers found 65-year-old Willie McCree dead.
Officers with the LVPD then requested the help of the Crime Investigation Division (CID) with ASP to investigate the death.
On August 22, agents with the CID and LVPD arrested 18-year-old Anthony Adams for his connection to the death of Mr. McCree.
He has since been taken to the Lake Village Jail, and he has been charged with first-degree murder.
