Just when you thought that Monday was going to be quiet for the Minnesota Vikings. . .or, rather, just when I thought it was going to be quiet. . .Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and company have made another move.

Numerous sources are reporting that the Vikings are trading cornerback Mekhi Blackmon to the Indianapolis Colts. In return, the Vikings will receive a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Blackmon was a third-round pick of the Vikings out of Southern Cal in the 2023 NFL Draft. He played sparingly to start his rookie season but saw significantly more playing time at the end and was expected to be a significant contributor going into the 2024 season. Unfortunately for Blackmon, that changed when he tore his ACL in the very first practice of training camp and wound up going on injured rese
