In 17 games in the Class-A Carolina League with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Kepley (South Rowan, Liberty, UNC) is batting .387 and has an on-base percentage of .548.

In other words, he’s too good for the league. Kepley has 24 hits, 16 walks, six HBPs, 11 steals, 12 RBIs and has scored 19 runs.

Kepley socked his first pro homer on Friday, drilling a pitch over the right-field fence. He ripped his third triple on Saturday. He had three more hits on Sunday.
