4-H Dairy Show

LYNDONVILLE — The 4-H State Dairy Show was held Aug. 10 and 11 at the Caledonia Fairgrounds in Lyndonville. The UVM Extension 4-H-sponsored event attracted over 50 youth competitors. Fitting and showing, and conformation, champions are listed, and with counties they are from.

Fitting and showing — Senior Champion, Sylvia Johnson, of Orange; Senior Reserve Champion, Taryn Burns, of Addison; Junior Champion, Katelyn Sibley, of Orleans; Junior Reserve Champion, Tenley Chittenden, of Addison.

Conformation championships were awarded for each breed:

Ayrshire — Grand Champion and Junior Champion, Madison Fuller, of Essex, for her fall calf; Reserve Grand Champion and Junior Reserve Grand Champion, Paige Chamberlin, of Addison, for her winter calf; Honorable Mention,
