SALISBURY — The city lost a fixture over the weekend.

Rick Anderson was a friend to many, quick with a punch line, always available for a laugh and ever eager to help any way he could.

A couple of weeks before he died, he posted on his personal Facebook page about a South Park Magazine article titled, “Day trip: Once upon a time in Salisbury,” which highlighted “the town’s historic architecture, ongoing restoration efforts and glamorous venues from days gone by.”
