Yasuko Urata

Yasuko Urata, of Eleele, passed away on Aug. 21, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on July 30, 1931, in Lihue, Kauai. She was a clerical staff at McBryde Federal Credit Union.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tsuruo “Jackie” Urata.

She is survived by her son Myles Urata of Honolulu, daughter Cynthia (Eric) Okino of Kapolei, four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial to be held at a later date.

Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.

Elvina Naniniihau O Kahelelani Naka‘ahiki, of Kekaha, passed away on Aug. 18, 2025, at the age of 62. She was born on Oct. 19, 1963, on Niihau.
