The VA Lebanon Healthcare System announced on Aug. 19 that it again received top marks from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings.

The Lebanon VA is one of only 15 hospitals in Pennsylvania with a five-star rating. The local veterans’ hospital also achieved the top rank last year.

Ninety-one fewer hospitals earned a five-star quality rating from CMS this year compared to 2024. Of the approximately 6,120 hospitals in the United States, only 290 received five stars.
