PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Drivers on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway should expect delays as traffic officials work to clear a tractor trailer crash scene Tuesday.
Police and first responders were called to a tractor trailer crash on southbound Interstate 495 at I-295 (Exit 2) in Prince George's County. The crash happened sometime overnight, and the crash investigation and clean up efforts have stretched into the morning commute hours. As of 6 a.m., one left travel lane is blocked and one right lane is open to traffic. Local lanes are also open to traffic. However, delays are still an issue, stretching back to MD-5.
