A coastal spot not too far from Edinburgh was named the top seaside town in Scotland by The Telegraph.
North Berwick in East Lothian is less than an hour's drive from the city, and wanting to see if the hype was true, Daily Record writer Alex Smail headed along to check it out.
On a warm Wednesday morning, he set out on an early train from Edinburgh to spend an entire morning in this picturesque seaside town.
