LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WANE) A Monticello, Indiana man is facing Operating While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving charges after he was clocked going 130 mph on I-65 in Tippecanoe County on Sunday.

According to a news release from Indiana State Police, a trooper was patrolling the interstate just after 8 a.m. when he pulled the driver over in a 65 mph zone near Lafayette. During his interaction with the driver, the trooper had reason to believe he had been drinking.

The driver, 21-year-old Anthony Lane was taken into custody and taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail.
