A man was allegedly racially abused on a train to Leicester . British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating the incident and have released CCTV images as part of their enquiries.

The incident happened late on Wednesday, June 18 on a train from Nottingham to Leicester Railway Station . The victim, a 25-year-old man, was allegedly racially abused by a man and some women.

Investigations are ongoing into the incident, with BTP releasing CCTV of a man and woman. They believe the pair may have information about the incident.

A BTP spokesperson said: "Police have released an image of two people they would like to speak to after a man was racially abused on a train.
