The internet has been going crazy talking about Ilia Topuria ever since he won the lightweight belt. A lot of people think only Islam Makhachev can beat him, though some also believe Arman Tsarukyan has that same potential. But UFC veteran Chael Sonnen is claiming that Topuria vs. Paddy Pimblett would be a bigger fight than any other matchup out there.

Most MMA stars are saying Tsarukyan is the number one lightweight contender and clearly deserves the shot. But when it comes to bringing in the big numbers, Sonnen thinks Makhachev fighting ‘El Matador’ isn’t as big a draw as ‘Paddy the Baddy’ taking on the lightweight champ. On a recent episode of the ‘Good Guy/Bad Guy’ show, the UFC veteran explained:

“Islam and Ilia is not this massive fight that people are trying to make believe it is.
