According to Prairie Village General Manager Faron Wahl, Byron Henry is so dedicated to his work that he nearly missed his hall of fame induction.

During the village's annual jamboree on Aug. 23, Henry was set to be the fourth-ever member of the Prairie Village Hall of Fame, which was established in 2022 as a way to honor its most ardent supporters. For Wahl and others leading the ceremony, the problem was getting Henry to take a break from his passionate work for the village, especially its sawmill. ×
