The Elkhart County Republican Party is announcing a caucus to choose a new Benton Township Trustee. Current Trustee Brad Showalter and his family are moving out of the county. The caucus will take place on the evening of Sep. 9. Republican precinct committee chairs who are eligible to vote in the caucus will be notified through official channels with additional location and timing details. Showalter spent seven years as trustee.
