MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — A traffic stop in Central City led to the arrest of a Belton man on numerous drug-related charges.

Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department deputies stopped a white Dodge Charger on South 2nd Street on August 19, and said they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Authorities say the driver, identified as 43-year-old Jonathan Lee Flener, showed signs of impairment. After field sobriety tests were conducted, Flener was arrested.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies say they found methamphetamine, hydrocodone pills, marijuana, digital scales, plastic baggies, and cash.
