Labor Day weekend is approaching this weekend, and if you’re staying in the city for the long holiday—you’ll probably want to know what will be open and closed!

The “unofficial end of summer” is slated for Monday, September 1st , honoring the contributions of American works everywhere.

What’s open during Labor Day Weekend

NYC Beaches : Coney Island, Rockaway Beach, and Orchard Beach remain open daily from 10 am – 6 pm with lifeguards on duty. Remember it’s the penultimate weekend to hit the beach, as they close for the season on September 7th . Find our favorite beaches here .
