Warrant issued for man who allegedly broke into Shreveport home, pistol whipped victim

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A man is wanted by Shreveport police for allegedly breaking into a woman's home and assaulting a man inside the house.

SPD secured an arrest warrant for Kaleb Martin after they were called to a home in the 200 block of Patton Avenue on Tuesday, August 25, around 10:22 a.m. The female resident told police that Martin arrived at the house and banged on her front door. A Ring doorbell camera captured Martin at the door with a firearm tucked under his arm.

The victim denied him entry, and Martin forced his way into the home using his shoulder to ram the door open. Once inside the house, Martin entered a bedroom and struck a male victim multiple times in the forehead before fleeing the residence.
