LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The motorcyclist killed in a crash Sunday has been identified as 21-year-old Jackson Gartee, of Lincoln.

The crash happened near North 90th and Adams streets at 5:26 p.m.

The preliminary investigation shows Gartee was traveling east on Adams Street as an SUV was turning onto the same street, causing a collision. Lincoln Police said speed appears to be a factor.

Medical personnel rendered aid to Gartee who died at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation. The driver of the SUV has volunteered to be evaluated by an LPD Drug Recognition Expert, however police said no impairment was suspected at the scene.
