PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Detectives in Prince George's County are working to identify a suspect in connection with a murder investigation from 2023.

The deadly incident took place around 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2023, in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway. Officers originally responded to the area for a welfare check; however, when they arrived, 33-year-old Chuck Deonte Jenkins was located suffering from trauma.

He died at the scene.

In the surveillance video shown above, the suspect is seen walking toward the crime scene.

Almost two years later, detectives are still working to determine a motive in the case.

The Prince George's County Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
