TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The folks at Happy Tails Animal Rescue will be holding a class for pet owners to be certified in Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid.

According to a post on the rescue's Facebook page, the class is being hosted by Pet Emergency Education and will benefit the rescue. The class promises to not only teach CPR for dogs and cats but also choking response, wound care, allergic reactions, and more. You will also learn proper ways to transport injured pets and recognize vital signs in the case of an emergency.

Attending the class will provide attendees with an official certification, an eBook textbook, and a 2-year subscription to the online resource center. You will also earn three Continuing Education Units that are applicable to veterinary technicians and animal
