POSEY COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A Posey County man is facing felony child sex crimes after an investigation by the sheriff's office.

The Posey County Sheriff's Office says 39-year-old Andrew Bastain of Poseyville was arrested on charges of felony Child Molesting and Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.

PCSO says the investigation began over the weekend, when deputies responded to a complaint of a sex crime.

Deputies spoke with the victim and witnesses, and on Monday, the victim was interviewed at Holly's House.

After further investigation, PCSO says Bastain was arrested.

Bastain is being held in the Posey County Jail without bond.
