New Firefly location serving customers

A new branch of Firefly Coffee House opened last week at 3500 Portola Drive at the former site of Paula’s, which closed in early 2025. Hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. The other two locations of Firefly, 131A Front St. and 1700 Commercial Way, have the same hours.

Firefly specializes in bagels, bagel sandwiches and breakfast burritos. The menu also features organic coffee and chai and other items. For more information, visit fireflycoffee.com .

D20 Pizza now open

D20, a Detroit pizza bar and board game café, is open at 1520 Mission St., where the restaurant Burger used to be. The pizza features slow-risen sourdough crust with a variety of toppings. A non-alcoholic drink program launches this week as indoor seating opens
