The parrying between residents and developers of the proposed "Settlers Green" housing development continued, and with no immediate end in sight, at the latest Warren Planning Board meeting held Monday night, Aug. 25, at town hall.

It was the latest installment of the years-long dispute, which after a lengthy dormancy was rekindled a few months back as the current owner/developer Last Ever LLC seeks a major subdivision/land development comprehensive permit to convert the former Bettencourt Farm into a residential manor.

Again, as a point of reference, Last Ever endeavors to construct 12 single-family houses along with two, four-story apartment buildings with 54 units each composed of one or two bedrooms on the 16-acre parcel off Kinnicutt Avenue, abutting Denver Avenue and
