Wednesday night’s (August 27th) Powerball jackpot has soared to $815 million , making it the 7th largest prize in the game’s history — and one of the biggest jackpots of the year so far.

The massive pot comes after no one matched all six numbers in Monday’s drawing, when the grand prize was $750 million. The winning numbers then were 16, 19, 34, 37, 64 , with a red Powerball of 22 .

So how big is Wednesday’s jackpot?

The full $815 million annuity , paid out in 30 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
