CORNELIUS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Town of Cornelius announced that the Cornelius 911 Emergency Communications Center has completed a major technology upgrade.
With this upgrade, the Cornelius 911 Center now has full system redundancy to ensure uninterrupted service during emergencies.
“This advancement places Cornelius at the forefront of emergency communications technology,” said Daniel Little, Director of Emergency Communications. “Our community can rest assured that no matter the circumstances, our 911 center will remain connected and ready to respond.”
The new system not only enhances resiliency but also positions Corenlius to adapt quickly to evolving next-generation 911 capabilities, such as text, video, and advanced data-sharing between first responders.
