ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A historic building in downtown Rock Hill will soon become an art museum.

Internationally renowned artist Jim Shore has purchased the property at 109 Hampton St., the future home of the Jim Shore Museum Experience and Gift Shop, city officials announced Tuesday. At 22,000 square feet, the two-story space will celebrate Shore’s artistry, storytelling, and legacy through immersive exhibits, rotating galleries and exclusive experiences.
